fischer SolarFlat is an aluminium alloy rail designed to fix photovoltaic systems on flat or sloping roofs with trapezoidal metal sheets and with orthogonal fastening. Suitable for panels running along the long side parallel to the frets. By using ALG rivets, the installtion is fast and easy. Furthermore the photovoltaic module can be installed quickly with clamps and easy cross joints through the top groove using the FNC AL hammer head nut, the MW bracket and the SKS M 8 hexagonal head screw.

Properties
- AW 6060 T6 aluminium alloy in accordance with EN 755-2:2013.

Functionality
- Choose the most suitable installation between the entire SolarFlat rail and SolarFlat P 400 rail pieces.
- Determine the centre distance of the fixings according to the pitch of the trapezoidal metal sheet ribs and the snow and wind loads of the system installation area.
- Place a layer of CG INT butyl adhesive tape between the SolarFlat rail and the trapezoidal metal sheet. Ensure that the butyl adhesive tape is turned so that the aluminium layer covering is on the side where the rail rests.
- In the case of fixing with ALG rivets, position the rail on the trapezoidal metal sheet and drill the rail and sheet together with a 5.5 mm diameter bit.
- When fixing with 6x25 EPDM SolarScrew self-drilling screws, only pre-drill the SolarFlat rail in the position where the fixing will be performed. Position the already pre-drilled rail on the sheet metal and screw in the self-drilling screw by passing it through the pre-drilled hole in the rail.
