The insulation plug for lightweight attachments to the ETICS.
Advantages
- The use of standard screws with a diameter of 3.5 - 4.5 mm allows flexible use.

The fischer FID II insulation plug is suitable for fixing lightweight attachments to external thermal insulation composite systems. Thanks to the combined centering, milling and cutting function of the plug tip, the FID II can be screwed in with pinpoint accuracy. The small head diameter in combination with the anchor's underhead milling pockets ensure a perfectly concealed and surface-flush setting result. The FID II is particularly suitable for fixing lightweight attachments such as outdoor lamps, house numbers or doorbells to the ETICS.
Functionality
- The FID II is placed in the ETICS with a cordless screwdriver.
- For thick layers of plaster pre-drilling is recommended.
- The insulation plug anchors itself firmly in the insulation material without destroying the plaster.
- After successful pre-assembly, the FID II can be additionally sealed with a sealing compound.
