The InLine® USB-C to SFP Gigabit Fiber Network Adapter is the ideal solution for professional network environments that require flexibility, reliability and compatibility. With its modular SFP port, various fiber optic transceivers (e.g. SX, LX) can be used – perfect for different ranges and infrastructures. The adapter supports network speeds of up to 1,000 Mb/s via the USB-C port, making it ideal for fast, stable connections with low latency.
The adapter scores particularly well in industrial applications, data centres or IT integration with features such as IEEE802.3az for energy saving, flow control to prevent packet loss and QoS capability for prioritised data transmission. Integrated support for VLAN tagging and automatic cable type detection also ensures easy integration into existing systems.
Thanks to its broad operating system support for Windows, macOS and Linux, the device is extremely versatile – for example, for temporary network connections, notebooks in service management or for permanent integration into rack solutions. The integrated on-chip buffer and extensive offload functions relieve the system and ensure loss-free data transmission, even under high loads.
