The InLine® HDMI Full HD KVM Extender over IP Receiver is the receiving unit of an HDMI KVM over IP system. It is used to output HDMI image signals and to control a remote host system via USB keyboard and USB mouse. The receiver is installed at the workstation and displays the image signal transmitted by the transmitter on a connected display device. In addition, the receiver captures infrared control signals and forwards them to the transmitter so that the HDMI signal source can be operated remotely.
It can only be operated in conjunction with the InLine HDMI KVM over IP transmitter, item 57885M. It is not intended for stand-alone use. The connection can be established as a direct point-to-point link or via a suitable network switch with Gigabit support. In network operation, several receiver units can be used simultaneously, all of which output the same image and control signal.
