The InLine® DisplayPort Fibre Extender has been developed for the reliable transmission of high-resolution DisplayPort signals over long distances. Signal transmission takes place via fibre optic cable and enables stable connections even over several kilometres. This makes the system ideal for installations where a classic copper connection reaches its technical limits.
Thanks to DisplayPort 1.4a support, resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz are transmitted with full colour resolution. Modern HDR formats and high colour depths are also supported. The image quality remains consistent and reliable over the entire transmission distance.
In addition, the extender transmits keyboard and mouse signals via USB. This allows remote computers or workstations to be fully operated without the need for additional KVM hardware. The integrated KVM function simplifies setup and reduces installation effort.
Transmission via fibre optic cable offers high interference immunity and is insensitive to electromagnetic influences. This makes the extender particularly suitable for use in technically demanding environments. The HDMI loop-out on the transmitter also allows simultaneous local image output, which provides additional flexibility during installation.
