The InLine® SC fiber optic cable coupling in a short design offers a robust, protected connection for fiber optic cables in demanding environments. With a compact length of only 74 mm, it is particularly suitable for installations with limited space – such as in network cabinets, outdoor distributors, or industrial applications.
The coupler is equipped with two SC simplex sockets and is suitable for single-mode connections with UPC or APC polish. Thanks to its IP68 protection class, it is reliably protected against water, dust, and temperature fluctuations from -40 °C to +85 °C. The housing is made of durable nylon (PA66), complemented by a silicone gasket for reliable sealing.
No tools are required for installation: simply feed the cable through the gasket, screw it into the M20 housing, and seal it with the green sealing ring, as illustrated in the instructions. This creates a durable, vibration-proof connection for indoor and outdoor fiber optic networks.
