A very interesting change is the use of rechargeable li-ion 18650 batteries with 3.7V cell voltage. The photo trap lasts longer on the site compared to conventional, very expensive AA size lithium batteries.

If you use a solar panel, this will directly recharge the embedded 18650 li-ion batteries. The solar panel is connected to the photo trap via a microUSB connector.

NOTE: The solar panel works best in southern locations. Sunny weather is required to recharge the embedded li-ion batteries to full capacity.

The photo trap can be deployed as a security camera to monitor properties, cars, gardens and other items. The biggest advantage is the very fast sending of recordings thanks to the 4G modem, including video in the best possible quality.

The photo trap also supports BolyRaw technology, which takes care of perfect images in every aspect. The photo trap's automation can adjust the ISO and shutter speed according to the lighting conditions. Most competing photo traps have these values set fixed.
