Honeywell R200C-2 - Battery powered carbon monoxide detector.
The R200 series of CO detectors have been optimized for use in residential CO protection applications.
They are designed to meet the needs of homeowners and individual users.

Where to install CO detectors
When considering how to install, it is important to remember that carbon monoxide has the same density as air and therefore disperses evenly throughout the room. However, as CO gas is produced as a product of the combustion process, it is likely to be warmer than the surrounding air and will therefore rise towards the ceiling.
Detailed information can be found in standard EN50292, which provides guidance on the selection, installation, use and maintenance of carbon monoxide detectors for residential properties.
Ideally, the detector should be installed in every room where a fuel-burning appliance is located.
We strongly recommend that detectors are also installed in bedrooms and rooms where you spend a lot of time.
In single-roomed rooms designed for sleeping and living at the same time, such as studio apartments, caravans or boats, the detector should be placed as far away from cooking appliances as possible and as close to the designated sleeping area as possible.
