The ground HSS Co Metal Drill Bit is a very high-performance drill bit with outstanding heat resistance thanks to its 5% cobalt alloy. It is ideal for drilling into extremely hard and tough materials, such as stainless steel. The 130° tip angle makes pilot drilling easier and ensures fast drilling progress. The ground cutting edge gives the drill bit high durability and excellent drilling performance during continuous use. The bit is precision ground for high true running accuracy; the increasing core provides high stability and minimises the risk of breakage. The decreasing diameter reduces heat build-up and thus helps to preserve the drill bit and materials. The large chip guide groove ensures effective chip removal. The metal drill bit is available in different sizes and has a round shank for quick locking in the drill chuck. It is compliant with DIN 338.
