Schneider Electric TeSys Island Digital IO Module - TPRDG4X2
Forming part of Schneider Electrics TeSys Island range is this digital IO module, this module has been created and designed to provide advance control functions within the TeSys Island system with 4 digital inputs and 2 digital outputs. The device enables the control of third parties power devices when associated to a TPRPM power module and is only operational when connected to a bus coupler TPRBC. The functions that are available with this type of device is the control of 4 sink/source inputs with common point and the control of 2 sink/source outputs with a common point.
Features & Benefits
- Compatible with TPRBC bus coupler and TPRPM power module
- Features 4 discrete inputs, isolated with a common point, with the discrete input voltage being 24 V DC
- Features 2 discrete outputs, isolated with a common point, with the discrete output voltage being 24 V DC
- 1 external fuse is available as the protection type (0.5 A fast fuse for each output)
- The response time for this device is 5 ms at 24 V for digital input and 5 ms at 24 V for digital output
- LED local signalling to show the status of the device

- There are relevant load data available, such as current, power, energy and advanced diagnostic data
- The TeSys Island avatar objects and dedicated configuration and maintenance tools provide simplified engineering and commissioning
- Users can have up to 20 modules on 1 island mounted on DIN rail (up to 112 cm length)
- Thanks to the fill connectivity over fieldbus, no control or auxiliary wiring are required
- There is no need for mechanical dials or dip switches due to all the adjustments and settings being digitised
- A limited number of references including 5 starter sizes, digital & analog I/Os and voltage measurement modules
- Embedded Cybersecurity (Achilles Level 2)
- There is a SIL starter available, designed for the integration into functional safety systems which are according to IEC 61508, IEC 62061 and ISO 13849-1, including TUV certification (Stop 0 and 1 with wiring categories 1 to 2, suitable for PL c, d and SIL level 2
