Schwalbe's best-selling model. The most puncture resistant pneumatic tire available. In addition to the outstanding puncture protection, it convinces with many inner values:
ROLLING RESISTANCE.
The patented, 5 mm thick SmartGuard insert has a clear advantage in terms of rolling resistance compared to all imitation products.
RECYCLING.
In the SmartGuard we also use a proportion of recycled rubber from old latex products.
"ANTI-AGING" SIDE PANEL. Withstands the typical overloads caused by insufficient air pressure for much longer before it develops ugly cracks.
E-BIKE READY.
The Marathon Plus is an ideal choice for e-bikes (E-25) thanks to its excellent properties. The most important sizes have also been tested and approved for fast e-bikes up to 50 km/h (E-50).
UNPLATABLE WITH MARATHON PLUS
Only Marathon Plus tires make the bike flatless. The 5 mm thick puncture protection even protects against thumbtacks.
You can never completely rule out a flat tire. However, with the Marathon Plus bicycle tire you are well protected against the typical breakdown devils such as shards or granulate. It is essential to use a manometer to set the air pressure on all Marathon Plus. Due to the special structure, a pressure test with the thumb is not sufficient.
