The 18V X2 LXT® Brushless Cordless Smart Robotic HEPA Filter Vacuum is a cordless solution that automatically cleans large flooring spaces in commercial environments. The DRC300 features an efficient brushless motor engineered for extended run time and longer tool life. It is versatile and sophisticated to clean large spaces more efficiently.
The DRC300 utilizes innovative LiDAR sensor technology and a front camera sensor that helps to map and save up to five rooms totaling over 100,000 square feet. It also uses obstacle detection with six ultrasonic sensors, one bumper sensor, and one LiDAR sensor (2D). The Smart Robot Vacuum connects to a smartphone (with dedicated app installed) for smart cleaning.
It operates using one 18V LXT® battery with the option to insert one additional battery for extended run time, and can clean approximately 5,380 square feet of hard floor surfaces using two 18V LXT® 5.0Ah batteries (BL1850B, batteries sold separately). It offers up to 200 minutes of continuous operation using two 18V LXT® 5.0Ah batteries (batteries not included).
The DCR300 has two navigation options: "Mapping Pattern Navigation" for more efficient cleaning in less than half the time and "Free Mode" for immediate cleaning without room registry. It can accept up to 100 programmable boundary lines per mapped room, preventing the vacuum from traveling into restricted zones.
There are two cleaning mode options: "Main Brush Only" for large debris or "Main Brush Plus Vacuum" for large debris and small particles. It features a three-stage cleaning system that utilizes side brushes, the main brush, and vacuum suction to ensure complete cleaning performance. The filtration system features a HEPA filter to capture micro dust particulates. The cleaning components are removable and fully washable for ease of maintenance. The debris collection box is easily accessible and features a large collection capacity (3.1 quarts, .79 gallons) to ensure ample capacity for commercial applications.
Convenience features include a remote-control function that provides wireless capability to set most operating functions like the location beacon, an ergonomically positioned carrying handle for increased comfort, and dual L.E.D. battery indicators that shows the charge level for each 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion battery.
For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls™. Star Protection is a communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. For increased versatility, the tool can also be powered by Makita 18V LXT® and Compact Lithium-Ion batteries with the star symbol on the battery indicating Star Protection inside.
